We are excited to announce that RYM is hosting their first West Coast High School Summer Conference at Pepperdine University in Malibu! We can expect the same caliber of a camp as our previous years with RYM in Colorado, and because of the close proximity of the location, your cost has been reduced by over $1,000.
When: July 26-30, 2024
Who: Rising 9th graders through recently graduated HS seniors.
Meaning, if you currently have an 8th grader, they are welcome to join!
Cost: $550
$100 Deposit due by January 7, 2024 to secure your student's spot.
If you would like to bypass the $4 service fee, you can write a check to "Redeemer Presbyterian Church" for $100 and memo "RYM Deposit" and either mail it to Redeemer's PO Box - PO Box 9708 Newport Beach, CA 92658 or drop it in the Sunday collection box. However, if you write a check, you will also need to email Danielle Smith ([email protected]) to let her know.
The remaining $400 will be due at a TBD date around May. We will keep you posted.

Theme: Grace Alone
We are a people constantly trying to prove ourselves in a culture of catchphrases like “do better” and “be your own hero.” We feel the weight of trying to measure up and be right in all that we do and think. Yet all this striving leaves us hopeless and helpless, and we eventually come to the conclusion that we can’t save ourselves. For all our self-righteousness, we soon realize we’ve fallen short.
And then we read Ephesians 2:8. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” God’s Word teaches us that we don’t have to prove ourselves or measure up or impress anyone, especially God. In fact, we’re incapable of doing that. It is grace alone that saves and grace alone that frees us from the struggle and shame of trying to be righteous on our own. Join us this summer at RYM as we celebrate the amazing gift of God’s grace to sinners like us.
